Obed C. Noll Jr
Martinsburg, W.Va. – Obed C. “Sammy” Noll Jr., 84, of
Martinsburg, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.
Born Oct. 8, 1916, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Obed C.
Noll Sr. and Blanche Miller Noll.
He retired from Criswell’s Greenhouse.
He was a member of Tuscarora Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of Tuscarora Ruritan Club.
He is survived by a brother, Lyle W. Noll of Martinsburg, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ned Noll, Max Noll, Cecil Noll and
Robert Noll.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in
Martinsburg. Dr. James R. Jackson and John Cushwa will officiate. Burial will be
in Tuscarora Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
funeral home.
