Joseph M. New
VIRGINIA BEACH VA. – Joseph M. New, 64, of Chesapeake, Va., died
Sunday, Oct. 5, 1997 at his home.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a retired police officer with Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel District.
He leaves his wife, Linda Catrow New, at home; one sister, Myrtle Wells of
Willard, N.C.; and three nieces.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 1997, at the Tuscarora
Presbyterian Church in Martinsburg, with the Rev. Dr. Bruce R. McClendon
officiating.
