Hattie B. McIntyre
Mrs. Hattie B. McIntyre, of Tuscarora, was stricken at her home at 8 p.m.
Saturday and died unexpectedly.
She was born in Doddridge County, December 22, 1883, daughter of Reason C. and
Emma Henderson Bates and had resided in Berkeley County since 1919. Mrs.
McIntyre was a member of the Methodist Church at Wallace.
Her husband, Homer Lambert McIntyre, who died August 3, 1955, had been a deputy
sheriff in the 1940’s.
Surviving are one brother, George Bates, Tampa, Fla., and a niece and nephew,
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Cole, of Fairview, Route 1, who are in charge of funeral
arrangements.
Services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 at the Brown Funeral Home by the Rev.
David Coffey. Interment will be in the Tuscarora Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9.
