Evelyn C. Kitchen

Evelyn C. Kitchen, 88, of Falling Waters, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at Heartland of Martinsburg.
Born Oct. 1, 1918, in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Otho Howard Cushwa and Edna Pearl Donaldson Cushwa.
She was a member of Tuscarora Presbyterian Church and a member of the Tuscarora C.E.O.S. Club.
Mrs. Kitchen was a graduate of Martinsburg High School, class of 1937.
She is survived by a daughter, Carla Jean Kitchen, of Falling Waters; two brothers, H. Kenneth Cushwa, of Falling Waters and Harold L. Cushwa, of Martinsburg; and one sister, Mildred C. Roberson, of Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce W. Kitchen; and a brother, Otho Donald Cushwa.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Clark DeSarro-Raynal officiating. Interment will be at Tuscarora Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Kitchen Services
Funeral services for Evelyn C. Kitchen, 88, of Falling Waters, who died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, were held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, with Rev. Clark DeSarro-Raynal officiating.
Interment was in Tuscarora Cemetery.
Bearers were: Scott L. Boarman, Raymond E. LeMaster Sr., Bradley L. Janes, Paul J. Sencindiver, James B. Smith and G. Edward Frye.
