Obituary – March 4, 1997

Bunker Hill, W.Va. – Benjamin H. Fultz, 71, of Route 2, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at his home.

Born Feb. 14, 1926, in Hampshire County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Benjamin T. and Agnes King Fultz.

He was employed by General Motors for 27 years as a truck repairman and retired in 1996.

He attended Winchester Church of God in Winchester, Va.

He was a member of UAW Local 1590 and United Commercial Travelers.

He is survived by his wife, Isabelle Slonaker Fultz, whom he married on March 16, 1951; two daughters, Karen Orsini of Bunker Hill and Diane LeGore of King George, Va.; two sons, Rodney Fultz and Brian Fultz, both of Bunker Hill; one stepson, Ronald Slonaker of Kearneysville, W.Va.; three sisters, Margaret Grahn of Martinsburg, W.Va., Pauline Fults of Romney, W.Va., and Helen Alexander of La Mirada, Calif.; one brother, Wilco Fultz of Martinsburg; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward M Fultz and Lester W. Fultz.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Winchester Church of God, 2080 N. Frederick Pike, Winchester. The Rev. Darrell Waller will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscarora Cemetery, Martinsburg.

The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
