Miss Elsie Seibert Cushwa, of Rt. 1, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the
Williamsport, Md., Nursing Sanitarium where she had been a patient for the past
month.
She had previously been hospitalized for two months at City Hospital.
A native of the county, she was born on October 27, 1882, a daughter of the late
Otha Harrison and Mary Susan Myers Cushwa.
She had resided with her brother-in-law, C. D. Catrow, and late sister, Mrs.
Nellie Susan Catrow, at their home in Tuscarora.
She was a member of Tuscarora Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is one brother, Howard Cushwa, Rt. 1, and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to Rosemont, Kogelschatz and Coffman Funeral Home, where
friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
David G. Coffey, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Tuscarora Cemetery.
Remembrances may take the form of contributions to the Tuscarora Church Building
Fund.
