Sunnyside is a premier continuing care retirement community.  It opened in 1917 in Harrisonburg, Virginia,  and is located on over 71 acres of land.  It also manages two other facilities in Martinsville, Virginia, and Waynesboro, Virginia, .  It is full of good friends and neighbors waiting to welcome you.

If the need for assisted living becomes a need, the Terrace has a cognitive enhancement impairment program for mile dementia  while still having your own room with your belongings.  The Pannill Health Care Center provides nursing care while still allowing participation in regular activities and programs.

Whether you choose a spacious villa, a cozy cottage, apartment living, assisted living, or a health care facility, the necessities such as yard work, gutter cleaning, snow removal, and many more are done fore you.

The dining room located in the Highlands is available for 3 meals a day or one a week--your choice.  They have a buffet or menu.  Many other services include pharmacy, building and appliance maintenance, chaplain services, worship services and Bible study.  On campus doctor and dentist offices, wellness center (pool and spa), bank, physical services, barber shops, not to mention many planned activities and programs.

The funside of Sunnyside include reading clubs, folk dances, writers club, Jazz It Up, Travel With Us, Cooking With Davnm, and Cooking With Heather.
