Congregational Cooperative Action Project--CCAP
CCAP is a cooperative ministry of more than 66 area churches in Berkeley County. These churches have joined forces to provide material, financial and supportive
assistance in a loving way to those who are unable to meet these
responsibilities themselves. Aside from fulfilling basic needs, such as help
with rent, medicine, water bills, heat, transportation, etc. CCAP also strives
to help people to help themselves.
CCAP maintains a food pantry. Loaves & Fishes, where donated surplus food is
distributed to those in need. Food is available up to 5 times in a twelve month
period to those in need.
CCAP is located in the basement of the former St. Joseph Parish School at 336
South Queen Street, Martinsburg, WV and is staffed only by volunteers. It is a
member agency of United Way.
